The City of Sandusky is fortunate to have quality educational opportunities all within the city limits or in close proximity in the region. 
K-12 EDUCATIONSandusky City Schools
Sandusky City Schools has over 3,500 students, creating a diverse population and a district rich in pride, tradition, and excellence. The elementary program is comprised of the Sandusky Early Learning Academy (preschool & kindergarten), Sandusky Primary School (grades 1 & 2) and Sandusky Intermediate School (grades 3 – 6). Middle school students are housed at Sandusky High School allowing for easy access to advanced classes. The Regional Center for Arts and Academic Studies (RCAAS) provides gifted services for students of the district. It is the only all-day gifted program in the region. RCAAS begins in the third grade. Sandusky High School offers many innovative programs for 9 – 12 grade students. These programs include Blue Streak University, the Global Internship Experience, The Great Lakes Visual and Performing Arts Academy, Sandusky Digital Learning Center, Athletics, and Activities.    

Sandusky Central Catholic School
Sandusky Central Catholic School offers preschool through grade 12. St. Mary Central Catholic High School students consistently excel in both the classroom and athletic fields.  They also contribute to the growth and development of their neighborhoods, community and parishes through volunteer and service hours. All Sandusky Central Catholic School students reflect in action the Gospel values that are the hallmark of an SCCS education and the mission of the school.

Monroe Preparatory Academy
Monroe Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school serving EK-8 students throughout Sandusky. Monroe Preparatory Academy prides itself on having a rigorous award-winning and accredited academic program that exceeds Ohio state standards to provide children a strong academic foundation and prepare students for college and career. 

ADULT EDUCATIONSandusky Career Center
The Sandusky Career Center is a program for adults who are seeking a career change, enhancement, or continuing education classes. The Career Center offers a range of certified short and long-term programs. The Career Center also offers classes in GED, WorkKeys Preparation, English Speakers of Other Languages, basic skills refresher classes, and career planning.

higher EDUCATIONBGSU and Cedar Fair Partnership: Cedar Fair Resort and Attraction Management
Bowling Green State University offers the only resort and attraction management degree embedded in a theme park. BGSU is partnering with Cedar Fair to offer a Bachelor of Science in resort and attraction management (RAAM). This innovative partnership provides graduates with leadership opportunities in the resort and attraction management industry.
